This rail is a structural support accessory designed to reinforce the top plate on the Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K/17K. This right-side rail addresses flex introduced by centrally mounted top plate configurations by creating an additional connection point between the top plate and riser plate, improving overall rigidity in demanding production builds.

The rail features an integrated NATO rail with push-button safety stops for secure, quick-release accessory mounting, along with alternating 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threaded holes. A forward-facing 3/8”-16 mount point allows for the direct attachment of bolt-on rod systems or other front-mounted accessories. All threaded points are designed as blind holes to prevent hardware from extending into and damaging the camera body.

It mounts directly to our Top Plate and Riser Plate using a 3/16” hex tool, reinforcing the overall structure without interfering with the rod system below. The design maintains a clean profile while allowing efficient accessory placement along the operator side of the camera.

This rail is compatible exclusively with our top plate and riser plate configurations for the URSA Cine 12K/17K, serving as both a structural component and a key mounting interface within the broader support system.
