The ARCA Riser incorporates an anti-twist block design built into the bottom of the camera. The Riser was intended for use with the ARCA Baseplate, allowing users to transition to a lightweight rig when rods and lens support are no longer needed. The design prevents any movement on the Riser itself providing the user with a safe and secure connection. Safety features prevent the camera from sliding off the baseplate.
The ARCA Riser plate keeps the camera at its optimal lens height while offering mounting points along the base of the system as well as Lens Support mounts to prevent mount shift on Cine-style lenses.
