The Base Plate allows you to remove the Bridge Plate Dovetail to attach to a Studio Base Plate or directly to a dovetail. Optional 15mm rods in a lightweight spacing add support to your setup with other LWS accessories, like the Universal Lens Support (15mm LWS). Tie-downs let you quickly adjust the positioning of the Bridge Plate on accessories like the Safety Dovetail 8”, Unified Bridge Plate, or the Shoulder Rig V3. A safety button prevents accidental release.
(The ARCA Riser Plate for Canon EOS C400 or ARCA Riser Plate for Canon EOS C80 are required to attach the Base Plate to the camera and to maintain the proper height for studio baseplate and rod use.)
