The beauty of this collection is that each item can be used for multiple purposes every time. Each piece acts as a base for users to customize their builds based on the needs of each job.
This collection has incorporated a variety of attachment options, unlocking your build with new options in connectivity and accessory mounting options. Explore a world of limitless possibilities in creative use while keeping the design sleek with a black anodized aluminum finish. Wooden Camera is one of the first to incorporate a hook-and look-feature right into the design of the plates.
Accessory Plates: Different Uses for Every Job
The Highlights:

The Accessory Cheese Plates offer various mounting size options ranging from a 5x5” plate, a 3x5” plate, a 2x5” plate down to a 2x2” plate or the same sizes in Hook-and-Loop format. Each plate has a variety of mounting holes on the front, back and sides for use with any Mini Rail Accessory that are available in 3 different sizes (more about this below). The Cheese Plate Accessory Systems have a wide variety of ⅜”-16 and 1/4”-20 mounting options built right into the plate for installation to your assigned accessories. Mount your Preston MDR, Anton Bauer Battery Plate and more with dedicated mounting ports, or take advantage of the various mounting options to mount your Teradek Transmitter, Serv 4K, Teradek RT MDR or a wide variety of other accessories. Another option is to simply attach your accessory with hard side velcro to the soft side Hook-and-Loop built directly into the Hook-and-Loop Accessory Plates.
Bolt-On Hook-and-Loop Plates for Tight Spaces
The Highlights:
- Sizing Options: Mini ¼”-20; Small and mini 3/6”-16
- Function Options: Hook-and-Loop Plate

- Take advantage of the smaller spaces in your rig that might otherwise be wasted space.
Works well with:
- Time Code Boxes
- Audio Hops
A few handy plates come in smaller bolt-on versions for items like small time code boxes and audio hops in a ¼”-20 mini version and ⅜”-16 small or mini version. These are easily added with a flat head or 3/8”-16 allen wrench wherever your camera rig has an appropriate mounting option. Each plate has movable pins using a T6 torx or flat head in addition to two stored pins under the plate. Please note, plates do not incorporate the Mini Rail Accessories.
Mini Rail Mounts for Optimal Placement
The Highlights:
- Sizing Options: 100mm, 60mm and 40mm
- Function Options: Can be placed on any side or middle of Accessory Plates, either horizontally or vertically.

- Mount accessory plates different ways for different builds. Small rail mounts that work differently based on your needs.
Works well with:

The optional 100mm, 60mm and 40mm mini rails offer the most configurability on these plates where previous workflows only left you with one mounting point. Options like adding a single rail or multiple versions greatly extend the usability of each rail. When changes to the camera build are inevitable due to the project shooting style, these rails come in clutch. Each rail incorporates captive low profile screws with ball plungers for added security on the Accessory Plates when sliding into position.
Each of the Accessory Plates offer a variety of configurability options with any mini rail mount. The plates provide various options for mounting positions on the front, back and side where you can vertically or horizontally mount a Mini Rail straight onto the plates themselves. Combined with a line of mounting accessories, the collection expands your options in creating camera builds that are tight-knit and well organized, while offering accessibility options when covering important access points like cable ports or menu screens.
Universal Accessory Hinge and Clamp
The Highlights:
- Functionality: 90-degree Tilt; ⅜”-16 Mounting
Why it matters:
- Tilt functionality allows you to optimally mount accessory plates without blocking ports, buttons or menus.
The Universal Accessory Hinge and Clamp system is a combination of mounting accessories offering a movable ⅜”-16 screw within the mount, movable mounting pins and a 90-degree tilt for your accessory plates. This allows users to open up mounting connectivity on your rig, while keeping your build neat and concise. As an added bonus, the clamp accessory can be removed and rotated for your desired use, then tightened when the Accessory Rail is in the desired placement using the tie down knob.
Universal Accessory Hinge
The Highlights:
- Functionality: 90-degree Tilt; ⅜”-16 Mounting
Why it matters:
- Tilt functionality allows you to optimally mount any accessory without blocking ports, buttons or menus. No need for accessory rails.
For users looking for a direct mount, that is to say not use the Accessory Rails, the Universal Hinge with its 90-degree tilt ability also incorporates a ⅜”-16 mounting option and various pinholes on the face of the accessory. This way, users can mount user preferred items to the Universal Accessory Hinge, regardless of the use of Accessory Plates, and achieve your preferred use scenario. This Universal Accessory Hinge also adds two extra mounting pins under the hinge itself, for backup or as a more secure mounting option.
Bolt-On Accessory Rail Clamp
The Highlights:
- Functionality: Sliding function; ⅜”-16 Mounting
Why it matters:
- While using any of the Mini Rails, accessories can easily slide in or out of this clamp.
The movable Bolt-On Accessory Rail Clamp works to slide your Accessory Plate in or out of a position easily, using the Accessory Rail System. This unit provides an option of changing the direction of your mounting ability with various holes designed into this cube. Simply unscrew the ⅜”-16 screw from the native back hole and reposition to your preferred mounting hole to explore various new ways of configurability. This unit also includes two extra mounting pins hidden at the front of the clamp, where the Accessory Rails slides in, without compromising any movement.
If you find the Bolt-On Accessory Rail Clamp pushes your accessories too far from your build, we created a mini version to tidy this mounting process. Just in the case that using a rib or top plate is preferred, with minimal reach from the desired mounting point. Similar to the Bolt-On Accessory Rail Clamp, this part utilizes a ⅜”-16 mounting screw with anti-twist pins that are movable to your desired rigging location.
Universal Dual Rod Clamp for Rod Mounting
The Highlights:
- Functionality: Additional Mounting on 15mm Rods; 4x ⅜”-16 Mounting Pins
Why it matters:
- Secure ⅜”-16 mounting points on 15mm rods for distance measuring devices or other accessories
The Universal Dual Rod Clamp for Bolt-On Accessories is a 15mm, lightweight rod mount and includes 4 optional 3/8”-16 mounts with pinholes built into the middle of the accessory. Paired with a Universal Hinge system, users can quickly add a battery plate to their build using a 3x5” Cheese Plate, giving the camera system an easily tilt-able option from the top or bottom rails on the build. Other options include mounting a range finder system to the front rails of the build for an easily movable option when changing from primes to zooms as an example. This Rod Clamp includes dual tie down knobs that securely mount your accessories without fret or slippage.
28mm Offset Bracket for Low Profile Optimal Mounting
The Highlights:
- Functionality: Different mounting configuration; ⅜”-16 Mounting Pins
Why it matters:
- Clean up your build with this bracket that allows you to offset accessories off the top plate.
The 28mm Offset Bracket extends your mounting options by allowing your accessories to easily reach across a top plate or as additional mounting option that attaches into the camera itself. This improves mounting ability options, where before you were stuck considering awkwardly placed or bulky mounting options. This unit incorporates a ⅜”-16 with mounting pins to tie into the camera in addition to a receiving identical setup for mounting items to this bracket.
