This purpose-built top plate is designed to support the unique spatial requirements of the Blackmagic URSA Immersive Camera. Engineered around the camera’s 180º field of view, the plate eliminates forward-facing 3/8”-16 mounting points. It extends the front profile to add more mounting points to allow the carry handle to be positioned further forward, ensuring compatibility with immersive shooting environments where traditional mounting positions would interfere.

The design includes integrated mounting points and passive heat dissipation features, while adapting the geometry to suit the immersive form factor. Additional support pads on the underside of the plate reduce flex under load, improving overall rigidity when supporting monitors, handles, or other top-mounted accessories.

The plate interfaces directly with our side rails and riser plate systems, forming a unified structure without obstructing camera operation or rod-based accessories. Its low-profile design preserves access and clearance while maintaining the strength required for professional builds.

This top plate is compatible with our rail systems and Block Extension components for the URSA Cine 12K/17K, serving as a foundational element within the broader support ecosystem.
