Riser Plate and ARCA Base Plate

At the core of the system is a Riser Plate paired with an ARCA Base Plate, elevating the build to the proper optical height for traditional cinema accessories while facilitating open airflow around the camera body. These plates are compatible with any bridge plate designed to ARRI Standard height and leverage the built-in ARCA interface, enabling quick transitions between Steadicam, shoulder, and tripod workflows with our ARCA-compatible components.

Top Plate System

A purpose-built Top Plate secures to the camera via three ¼”-20 screws along the center mounting points, emphasizing airflow and accessory connectivity. A removable 15mm dual rod clamp supports attachments such as the Blackmagic EVF or third-party components, while a removable rear extension provides additional mounting points. The Top Plate maintains compatibility with the stock Blackmagic URSA handle and integrates seamlessly with the side rails and riser plate for a unified build.

Side Rail Kit

This kit includes left and right side rails engineered to reinforce the top plate and expand accessory mounting options. The right-side rail features an integrated NATO rail with push-button safety stops, alternating 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threaded holes, and a forward-facing 3/8”-16 mount for rods or additional attachments. Blind holes protect the camera body from hardware intrusion. The left-side rail serves as structural support, reducing flex in the top plate while maintaining full access to operator-side controls. Both rails mount directly to the top plate and riser plate without obstructing rods, creating a balanced and rigid system for fully built configurations.

Ultra Handle

The included Ultra Handle offers secure ergonomics for handheld operation and adds versatile mounting points for additional accessories, complementing the modularity of the system.
