The Battery Plate Wedge positions the camera's battery plate perpendicular to the camera and attaches directly to the back of the camera with captive M2.5 screws. This allows the 26V Gold Mount Plus Battery Plate, or the Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K/17K Battery Plates to mount additional accessories in line with the camera setup, which is important when the battery plates have cradles or other accessories that extend the camera's length towards the back.
The wedge has ¼”-20 and ⅜”-16 mounting points on top and complements the camera's body design.
